Buffs, you got this!
Welcome back from break! This fall feels like it just flew by, and I hope you all had a moment to relax and take a breath during your week off. There is a special energy on campus again that I love, now that classes are back in session.
It is that time of the year when Norlin Library will have extended hours, campus coffee shops are busier and the finish line is in sight. The University Memorial Center (UMC) and Center for Community (C4C) both offer quiet places to study as well. As you navigate the lead up to final exams, I have some advice for you: please give yourself grace as you close out the semester. Do what settles you and allows you time to just 鈥渂e鈥 for a moment. Take a coffee or dessert break, call a loved one for a quick pep talk, grab a meal with friends or take a nap! Personally, I vote for the nap... twice. Whatever you need to do for you.
The Division of Student Affairs is here for you as you prepare to wrap things up. Be sure to visit colorado.edu/finals鈥攖his is your one-stop shop for getting organized and finding the information you need. Here you can review the final exams schedule, tips and campus resources. Check out the list of student events that allow you to take breaks, gather with fellow Buffs and fuel up for study sessions. Upcoming opportunities include on Dec. 12, on Dec. 15 and Free Finals Week at The Rec from Dec. 15-20. You may not know this about me but I have two fur babies at home, Charlie and Baxter, and love animals, so you may see me visiting the therapy dogs when they are on campus next month!
A special 欧美口爆视频 Boulder tradition before finals that I encourage you to participate in is . This event occurs each semester on the last day of classes. Students can stop by the UMC for a free, nourishing meal provided to you by Student Affairs staff. Late Night Breakfast will be Thursday, Dec. 14, starting at 7 p.m. I am looking forward to seeing you there and wishing you good luck on finals in person, and I may have some fun giveaways to hand out.
Buffs, we are all cheering you on and are here to help you succeed. You got this!
Warmly,
Dr. D鈥橝ndra Mull
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
