Jade Morton is a professor at the Aerospace Engineering Sciences Department and director of the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Center for Astrodynamics Research. Prior to joining Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ in 2017, she was an electrical engineering professor at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ State University (2014–2017) and at Miami University (2000–2014). Morton’s research interests lie at the intersection of satellite navigation technologies and remote sensing of the Earth’s space environment, atmosphere, and surface. She received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Penn State and was a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Michigan. Morton is the president of the Institute of Navigation, a fellow of IEEE, the Institute of Navigation, and the Royal Institute of Navigation.
