Faculty & Staff Announcements
- The provost recently announced that all Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder classes offered during the Maymester and Summer A, C and D sessions will be taught remotely. [Update: All Summer Session classes will be held remotely.]
- The provost recently approved an extension of the last day to drop a class (with a W) deadline for students, through the last day of classes—April 30 for Spring 2020 full-semester classes, prorated for special session classes.
- We recently learned of a system issue affecting a small number of students’ pass/fail selections. This issue has since been resolved and will not impact pass/fail selections for future semester enrollments.
- On Wednesday, March 4, students will receive a registration e-memo specifying their enrollment start date and time. In each block, enrollment appointments are assigned every 15 minutes between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on weekdays (M–F) and 11 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 5.
- With support of the Office of the Provost, the Office of the Registrar has placed a moratorium on new requests for common final exams, effective for the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 exam schedules.
- In general, enrollment appointments are based on total cumulative hours and occur between March 4 and 6, 2020.
- When we purged the waitlists for Spring 2020 classes on Monday morning, we produced reports showing who was on each class waitlist.
- The Office of the Registrar's tuition classification team will begin accepting Summer and Fall 2020 residency petitions on Monday, March 2, one month earlier than previously published.
- Due to their compressed meeting schedules, special session classes follow different add, drop and withdrawal deadlines than those held during the standard 16-week semester.
- A Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ system-wide issue has been discovered with the latest update to Cognos. Affected student data reports appear to run normally, but return incorrect data merged into rows.
