To edit course content, submit a Course Revision Form or Course Proposal Form to your dean’s office for processing.

New or edited courses submitted to the Academic Scheduling team will be reflected in the catalog at the end of the month in which they’re processed.

Coming Soon: CIM Curriculum Management

Over the next several months, the Office of the Registrar will be working with academic units to streamline requests and build online workflows for curriculum creation and approval. Course proposals, revisions, new programs and changes to degree requirements will all be processed and approved via the online management system. The new tool will also integrate with the public catalog, eliminating redundant editing, and will seamlessly publish curriculum revisions. Stay tuned for additional details.

2018–19 University Catalog

It’s never too early to start thinking about revisions to the next catalog, especially if your department plans on introducing new programs or revising courses. For the purposes of the catalog, and to maintain consistency with Campus Solutions, we refer to these as “subplans.” You can find a list of active subplans on our website, organized by college and highlighted by degree. (To access the list, you’ll need to sign in to Office 365 with your ŷڱƵ Boulder credentials.) Please include subplans as part of your overview content and list of requirements, if applicable. If you believe that a subplan is missing from the list, or if a subplan is on the list but is no longer active, please contact us at catalog@colorado.edu.

Style Guide

Your catalog team at the Office of the Registrar has compiled a detailed style guide to help you with your catalog edits. Once you’ve reviewed the naming conventions, formatting and style tips, send any questions you have to catalog@colorado.edu.

Workflows

If you receive a few emails from the catalog site today and tomorrow, don’t be alarmed—we’re updating some of the workflows and pushing pages to catalog site users to streamline how editors navigate to their catalog pages. Follow the links in the emails, make any necessary updates and click “Approve” once you’re finished.

Before we break for the Thanksgiving holiday, we wanted to provide some catalog updates and deadlines.

Off

Traditional

0

On

White
Wed, 23 Nov 2016 07:00:00 +0000 Anonymous 2095 at /registrar Reminder: Catalog open labs and site maintenance /registrar/2016/11/16/reminder-catalog-open-labs-and-site-maintenance Reminder: Catalog open labs and site maintenance Anonymous (not verified) Wed, 11/16/2016 - 00:00
Tags:

2017–18 Curriculum & Catalog
Dustin Moody

Greetings, catalog contributors!

We appreciate your time last week at the catalog on-site training and we look forward to working with you on the upcoming 2017–18 University Catalog.

Attend a Training Open Lab Starting Today

The Office of the Registrar is hosting open lab training sessions throughout the fall semester for catalog contributors.
