I use the methods of linguistic anthropology and sociology to interrogate the everyday questions I have about race, ethnicity, gender and sexuality. My MA thesis focuses on the construction of racialized discursive personae in different social spheres. My professional training is in TESOL, and I hope to travel the world with my dog, Uzi.
