Building on efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in physics, Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder’s Department of Physics and JILA will host a Conference for Undergraduate Women and Gender Minorities in Physics (Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ*iP) in January 2025. The conference will bring approximately 150 students from the Midwest region to Boulder.

A team of researchers from Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder and the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ School of Mines was named a winner in the 2023 NASA Entrepreneurs Challenge. Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder physics faculty and JILA fellows awarded Heising-Simons Foundation Grant

The Heising-Simons Foundation recently announced $3 million in multi-institution grants for theoretical and experimental research on Informing Gravity Theory. Half of the award has been granted to a group of five faculty centered at the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder and JILA, a joint institute between Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder and the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
