Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵWiP Conference Brings Over 125 Women Physicists to Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder Campus
From Jan 13-15, 2017 the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder hosted a Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics, which was attended by approximately 125 undergraduate physics, astrophysics, and engineering physics majors.Ìý The conference featured many panels, talks, and workshops on topics such as career opportunities with a physics degree, finding summer internships, developing professional skills, and applying to graduate school.Ìý Additional highlights were lab tours, a planetarium show, a student poster session, and a Networking Fair.ÌýÌý This conference series is coordinated by the American Physical Society and the Boulder event was one of ten regional conferences that took place across North America on the same weekend
