High School Students Learn 欧美口爆视频 the Importance of Soil Ecosystems in Antarctica

Byron Adams gave a presentation to high school students about MCM LTER research with a focus on soil ecosystems. The goal of the presentation was to provide students with an up-to-date perspective on the importance of soil ecosystem, the important role that Antarctic soils play in understanding the function of local to global soil ecosystems, cellular and organismal response to stress (desiccation and freezing) and how contemporary soil ecosystems are responding to climate-driven changes. Adams partnered with Lynn Foshee Reed, who served as the Einstein Educator Fellow in the Office of Polar Programs at NSF from 2012 to 2014. During those years, she visited the Arctic and Antarctica.
