Incoming Students
New Student and Family Programs communicates with incoming students from the date of matriculation until the first day of classes.

Overview:ÌýThe purpose of this newsletter is to provide students with action steps, campus resources and other helpful information.
Timing:ÌýBoulder Bound Emails begin after the first matriculation date:
- Fall: Twice per month from May through mid-July; weekly from July through the week before classes start.
- Spring: Weekly from the end of December through the week before classes start.
Overview:ÌýThese emails are a combination of automatic and scheduled emails that are sent based on the student’s matriculation date to guide them through the onboarding process. Additional emails are sent as needed to students who have not completed a specific action item in the onboarding process.
Timing:ÌýSent automatically based on matriculation date and sent based on inaction.
Families
New Student & Family Programs communicates with parents, families and support systems of all Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder students throughout their time enrolled at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder.ÌýReview our guidelines for communicating with families here.

The purpose ofÌýthese emailsÌýis to communicate important steps in the onboarding process as well with a focus on families of students who have not taken necessary actions to move through new student onboarding process.
- Audience:ÌýFamilies of incoming first-year and transfer students.
- Timing:ÌýSent as needed between the time the student matriculates and the week before classes start, ideally one week following when the student receives the email to provide time to complete
The purpose ofÌýtheÌýBuff Family Resource HubÌýis to help guide parents and families through the new student onboarding process. The content provides a full overview of the offices that work with incoming students and families along with access to multiple campus resources.
- Audience:ÌýFamilies of incoming first-year and transfer students.
- Timing:ÌýAlways available; promoted during the new student onboarding process.
This newsletter covers a wide variety of topics that are applicable to parents and families based on the time of year. Topics include student requirements, advice, upcoming events, important dates and deadlines and other helpful information.
- Audience: Families who have voluntarily signed up to receive the newsletter (including families of alumni).
- Timing: Twice per month during the academic year.
Content covers a wide variety of important dates, events happening on campus as well as other information that is helpful for parents and families.
- Audience:ÌýFamilies who have voluntarily followed theÌý.
- Timing:ÌýContent is posted 3-5 times per week.
