Fluorescence Cell Counter Demo
The Stem Cell Research and Technology Resource Center will be demoing two different fluorescenceÌýautomated cell counters on Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 1:30-2:30pm, in Porter B254. Both systems can do normal trypan blue counting as well as flourescence options.Ìý

The two systems are:
- Nexcelom's Cellometer K2:ÌýÌýThe system is equipped with dual channel fluorescence for simple and accurate viability using AO/PI. It can also be used for cell based assays including Apoptosis, Cell Cycle, GFP transfection, and Vitality.Ìý
- ThermoFisher Scientific's Countess II FL:ÌýÌýIt will be set up with GFP/RFP/DAPI filters.
Please send me an email if you plan on bringing cell samples to test so that I can best coordinate the demos.
