Max Nyffenegger is an undergraduate student in Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science. As part of the SPUR undergraduate research program, Max is joining the AirWaterGas Sustainability Research Network to further understand the effects of new oil and gas developments. He will be running air quality simulations and policy analysis to inform setback distance regulations for oil and gas development. Some of his interests include renewable energy and battery technology. In his free time Max enjoys biking, skiing and hiking.
