The appointment begins in August 2018.ÌýThe search will focus on but will not be limited to scholars with a research interest in Jewish Studies.Ìý
Priority will be given to candidates whose teaching interests include Jews andÌýJudaism in the public sphere, anti-Semitism in American politics, or the politics of the Jewish experience in America, for example. The position will be fully rostered in PoliticalÌýScience, withÌýteaching split evenly betweenÌýthe two academic units. Because the position requires substantial undergraduate teaching in Jewish Studies, the successful candidate must have demonstrableÌýstrength and interest in teaching in courses in the area of Jewish Studies.
