Andrew Chiacchierini joined Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder’s Industry & Foundation Relations team in 2018. Andrew’s 15 years in higher education advancement includes stops at the University of Utah, the University of Denver, the University of ChicagoÌýand Loyola University Chicago. During his five years managing the organizational giving at the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School for International Studies, he oversaw over $10 million in awards—a tenfold increase over the previous five-year period. At the University of Chicago, he worked on a Corporate and Foundation Relations team that brought in upwards of $100 million annually.

Andrew earned a BA in English and Philosophy from the University of Richmond and a MA in the Humanities from the University of Chicago where he studied early modern English literature and wrote a thesis onÌýParadise Lost. Andrew enjoys backcountry skiing, ultra-running, gardening, campingÌýand spending as much time as he can outdoors—both in Boulder and the Fraser Valley—with his partnerÌýBrookeÌýand their three dogs, Snowy, JuniorÌýand Lily.

At Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder, Andrew develops campus-wide strategy for foundations interested in fundamental science research, manages Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ’s relationships with those fundersÌýand collaborates with faculty to secure support for their research projects.
