Time to show up and write! Do you need a dedicated space to help you focus on your academic writing? Sign up to attend our weekly write-in sessions. The goal of these sessions is to devote a few hours to your writing each week to help build your writing habit, to promote accountability with your peers by working alongside your fellow graduate students, and by tracking your progress regularly.听
Grad+ Endurance Seminar Series听

This seminar series led by Leslie Blood will consist of weekly one-hour check-ins to support goal setting and planning and to provide a clear understanding of how values should drive goals and habit structures. Students will find that these Endurance Seminars provide a solid foundation to reduce stress and help you find your place in the graduate community. Intro and advanced options available.
Grad+ Time Mapping

Do you feel overwhelmed and stressed out when you look at your calendar? This workshop will help you organize your day so that your personal and professional tasks become more manageable. You will learn 鈥渧isual time blocking鈥� techniques to help you schedule and prioritize and you will also learn about the connection between values and priorities so that you can be available for what鈥檚 most important. From energy management to intentional 鈥渢o-do鈥� lists, Time Mapping will teach you effective planning techniques and set you up for success.
Proposal Writing 101 for Postdocs & Graduate Students

The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, in partnership with the GradCO, invites postdocs and graduate students from across the state to learn about the process for successful proposal development. The workshop will focus on best practices for writing a quality grant proposal for potential funders. Jim Mazzouccolo, proposal editor and writing coach for 欧美口爆视频 Boulder鈥檚 Research & Innovation Office, will discuss key steps, including reviewing funder guidelines and requirements, project planning, writing, editing and proofreading.听

Five Ways to Respond to Conflict Effectively
听Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2听鈥撎�3:30 p.m.听听Zoom
Conflict is inevitable. The key is to handle conflict effectively when it arises. During this workshop, Liz Hill, associate director in the Ombuds Office, will use the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument to help you assess your typical behavior in conflict situations, learn about each of the five common conflict resolution styles, and discuss when to use each style.
GradCO: How to (Not) Give a Truly Terrible Presentation听

Did you ever listen to a presentation that was poorly delivered, where you felt you were wasting your time? It happens, and when it does, you don't want to be the speaker doing the delivery. In this workshop, we will compare the same talk when presented in two different ways and use this comparison to get clarity on the do's and don'ts of oral presentations. After attending this workshop, you know the importance of telling鈥攁nd repeating鈥攁 story, the basics of effective use and design of slides, and how to use your voice and body for a compelling delivery.
