Welcoming you back; starting the fall semester, COVID-19-ready with resources and support
Dear graduate students:
I hope you enjoyed a healthy and restorative summer; let me be among the first to welcome you back for the fall semester. As the university and the world continue to adjust to current circumstances, there is no doubt that the upcoming year will look very different. As you move forward with your graduate careers, I want to make sure your experience is as academically successful and personally enriching as possible.
While the university and the Graduate School are adapting to the altered campus, we are still providing many of the same support services, changing and expanding them as needed. Our GRAD+ program has moved completely online and continues to provide support and community at all phases of your graduate career—we encourage you to get involved if you are not already. Updates on Graduate School virtual events, professional development resources, funding opportunities, and academic requirements and concerns can be found on our website and in the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵBT graduate student edition.
There are many additional resources to support and help you navigate this fall’s challenges. These include Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder’s COVID-19 Updates and Resources website, the Graduate School’s FAQs, and the Graduate and Professional Student Government (formerly the United Government of Graduate Students, UGGS). As always, Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) offers a variety of workshops to support students in coping with stress, anxiety, and uncertainty related to COVID-19 and is available for phone and online appointments.
