The first day of the global climate summit framed climate change within the context of human rights: how all people, especially听people and populations in vulnerable situations, are experiencing听the most extreme effects of climate change, resulting in loss of land, livelihood and universal human rights.
The second day of the summit focused听on the obligations of each area听of civil society to address climate change and human rights. Areas of civil society include government, business and industry, education,听and individuals.
The final day of the global climate summit explored climate solutions, including youth activism, education, policy and Indigenous peoples鈥� traditional knowledge. We ended the summit with viable ways to adopt a human rights-based approach to climate solutions.
