Doctoral student Mehran Ghandehari won the 2017-2018 Scholarship. This award is granted by the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing to support doctoral research on 鈥淐ross-Scale Analysis of Surface-Adjusted Measurements in Spatial Analysis鈥�. His research incorporates terrain, slope, and curvature into GIS modeling computations, monitoring the reduction in error that occurs across multiple scales.
Robert Andrus, Joel Correia, Angela Cunningham, Zhaxi Duojie, Mehran Ghandehari, Eric Lovell and Kyle Rodman have each received a Beverly Sears Research Grant. These grants provide funds to assist the student with their PhD research.
