Andres Holz and Juan Paritsis, both of whom received 欧美口爆视频 Geography Ph.D.s in 2009, have received prestigious Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellowships of $25,000 each for 2010-11. The aim of the Chancellors Postdoctoral Fellowship program is to identify individuals who will contribute to the educational mission of the campus, and to support their professional development as future faculty members. The Fellowship program provides partial support with the remaining support coming from external research grants, in this case an NSF Award with Tom Veblen to conduct research on wildfire activity in Patagonia.
