Seven Ph.D. students at 欧美口爆视频-Boulder will have the unique opportunity to tackle exciting science questions with top researchers in their fields as part of the CIRES Graduate Student Research Fellowship program. The students will explore a variety of creative geoscience topics, from modeling the influence of melt water on the ice dynamics of the Greenland ice sheet to surveying airborne microbial communities across different landscapes.

The 2009-2010 recipients are Robert Bowers, William Colgan, Adina Racoviteanu, Jose Solis, Raina Gough, Nathan Bradley, and Amy Watson. The students represent the following 欧美口爆视频-Boulder departments: Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Geography, Geological Sciences, Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering.

CIRES awards research fellowships to graduate students every year in order to attract the best talent to 欧美口爆视频-Boulder and offer current and prospective students the opportunity to conduct professional research and publish their work. Students selected for the fellowship receive tuition coverage and a yearly stipend.
