Leah has a PhD in French Literature with Graduate Certificates in Women and Gender Studies and College Teaching (2018). She currently teaches for the Honors Program at CSU and also teaches one French class a semester in the Languages, Literatures, and Cultures department (LLC). She was recently named Honors Professor of the Year and is planning to run an annual Education Abroad class to Paris starting in the Summer of 2025. In Honors, Leah teaches interdisciplinary courses that help students cultivate skills such as critical thinking, communication, buildling community, and creativity. She teaches a class on Paris in the 1920s-1930s, a class on "Selfies" where students examine autofiction, and a class on "wandering" where students look at different definitions of what it means to wander, inluding the 蹿濒芒苍别耻谤.
