Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ

A native of Louisville, KY, Alan is a passionate, versatile educator and performing musician. Receiving his Bachelor’s in Music Education at the University of Louisville and his Master’s in Violin Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder, Alan has taught orchestra in K-12 and undergraduate programs and performed in competitive orchestras and festivals throughout the country; he maintains a small private studio and performing career.

Alan is eager to return to Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder to continue and expand his role in developing students’ academic and personal careers, just as his mentors and teachers did for him during his graduate work at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ.

In his free time, Alan enjoys rock climbing, hiking, learning new instruments, cooking, spending time with his partner Regina, and taking pictures of his two cats, Biscotti and Streusel.
