- PhD candidate Matthew Bentley was recently recognized as the top student presenter at the Emerging Contaminants Summit 2020.聽In addition, Bentley was awarded an honorable mention for the Figueroa Family Fellowship, which recognizes students who demonstrate a commitment to the achievement of a diverse student body.
- A team of four Environmental Engineering undergraduates has undertaken a project to help improve the health of people in Rwanda who use polluting stoves.
- Engineering Career Services are excited to provide new virtual programming to our engineering students. This semester they will be offering Engineering Technical & Behavioral Mock Interviews through InterviewStream. Students will be able to video record themselves practicing a set of interview questions.
- The聽Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Fellowship Program聽provides opportunities to doctoral candidates to engage in full-time dissertation research abroad in modern foreign languages and area studies. The program is designed to deepen research knowledge and increase the study of modern foreign languages, cultural engagement, and area studies not generally included in U.S. curricula.聽

- Teaching assistant Tyler Kurtz took students in Professor Joe Ryan鈥檚 Environmental Sampling and Analysis class to a section of Boulder Creek next to East Campus to learn one of the techniques of stream discharge, or flow rate, measurement.聽
