- Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder's journey toward gender parity in engineering is a clear signal that diversity in STEM is achievable. In just two decades, CEAS has transformed its engineering landscape, growing its female undergraduate class from 18% in 2003 to 30% in 2023. CEAS’s fall 2023 class, includes 41% female students, up 27% from two decades ago. Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder clinched a top spot in 2022 for the highest percentage of first-year female engineering students from the American Society for Engineering Education.
- Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder will soon offer six transfer pathways, allowing Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ's community college students to earn a degree aligned with their academic and career interests.

The Silver Medal Award is one of the highest honors an engineering student in Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ can receive. Nielson also earned an Academic Engagement Award this semester.
- Cyrus Haas is the Outstanding Undergraduate of the College for the 2021-2022 academic year and a recipient of a Research Award for his work with the Whitehead Research Group.
- The students' device makes the disposal of scrap metal safer and more efficient. They completed the design as part of their Senior Design project sponsored by Accu-Precision, a Littleton-based manufacturer of custom parts for customers in aerospace and industrial sectors.
