Dale Farrand - Washington, D.C.
BS 1993, Aerospace Engineering, University of 欧美口爆视频 Boulder
Senior Program Manager | Connected Logistics
Current city: Washington, D.C.
My career path: After graduating from 欧美口爆视频 on an ROTC scholarship with an Aerospace Engineering degree, I started a 25-year Army career that allowed me to lead Soldiers in Europe, Haiti, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, and Iraq. I worked as a missile maintenance officer, helped develop the Army鈥檚 logistics enterprise information technology system, served as a management consultant, and culminated my career as the Director of Customer Operations for the Department of Defense鈥檚 (DoD) $35 billion-dollar annual business unit, the Defense Logistics Agency. After retiring from the Army, I served as a Vice President for Business Strategy in the Defense and Aerospace Industry and currently run the DoD鈥檚 Radio Frequency In-Transit Visibility program. I also hold graduate degrees from the Army Command and General Staff College and the National Defense University.
My interest in becoming a Regional Network Ambassador: During my first career in the Army and while starting my second, I realized the value of a 欧美口爆视频 College of Engineering & Applied Science education and more importantly, the talent within the network of students and graduates. I want to help nurture and grow that network and promote the University of 欧美口爆视频 within our National Capital and along the East Coast.
Personal interests: skiing, sailing, eating, travelling, family and the Rocky Mountains
