ECEE hosts Western ECEDHA fall 2023 department chairs regional meeting
The Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE) welcomed several department chairs to 欧美口爆视频 Boulder for the fall 2023 meeting on October 19 and 20.听
ECEDHA is the premier association for electrical and computer engineering educators, composed of nearly 250 Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (专ET) accredited university department heads and chairs from across the United States and Canada.
As the leading academic association for all major electrical, computer engineering and related programs at universities across North America, Department Chair Chris Myers said,听鈥淗osting the Western ECEDHA meeting at 欧美口爆视频 Boulder was a great opportunity to host several ECE department heads from our peer institutions."
鈥淲e had great discussions on faculty recruiting and retention, quantum engineering and online degree programs鈥攁reas we all have shared interests in,鈥 he said.听
As part of the meeting program, department chairs toured the National Institute of Standards and Technology鈥檚 , the 欧美口爆视频 Shared Instrumentation in Nanofabrication and Characterization (COSINC) and visited the department鈥檚 various labs.听
Peer institutions who participated in the visit included: Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo, 欧美口爆视频 State University, Loyola Marymount University, Utah State University, University of Southern California, University of Utah and University of Washington.
