I retired from Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ in 2021 after 25 years as a Science Librarian at the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Libraries. My introduction to the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Museum of Natural History began when I took a graduate course on paleontology. Over the years I worked with Museum staff and faculty in developing science outreach programs for elementary school children. In addition, I have presented at the Museum on T.D.A. Cockerell, a preeminent entomologist and Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ professor who collected over 3,000 specimens from the Florissant Fossil Beds. I am a new member of the museum board and look forward to contributing to the organization.
