Kachine is a critical-somatic educator, researcher, and listener. She received her PhD in Teacher Learning Research and Practice at the School of Education at University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ, Boulder.
Her research is situated at the crossroads of queer perspectives, critical/abolitionist teaching, and somatic embodiment. Through qualitative and design-based research methodologies, she studies learning from a holistic perspective that incorporates both intellectual learning processes and somatic embodiment: learning that calls attention to the body, heart, and emotions as well as thinking.
