- Approximately 1,000 people participated in the 10th-annual Tube to Work Day in Boulder Creek July 14. The event attracted its largest-ever crowd of tubers, and spectators reveled in the quirky costumes and colorful inflatables of those floating down the creek.
- As students conclude a day of classes at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Boulder, the sun ambushes the sky with brilliant colors as it sets behind the Rocky Mountains. This photo was captured over Kittredge ponds on the southern edge of campus.
- <p>Students taking a Maymester course on campus trudged through a mid-May snow storm that blanketed campus with heavy snow beginning Thursday, May 18. By Saturday morning, the sun was back and the campus landscape appeared green and lush. </p>
- At commencement 2017, Friday, May 12, the university awarded nearly 6,300 diplomas representing more than 4,600 undergraduate and 1,600 graduate degrees.
