An associate professor of Spanish and Portuguese at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania, Shawn plans to create a digital soccer-fiction bibliography to help advance the emerging field of literary soccer studies.

From 2000 to 2009 she held several positions at the Environmental Defense Fund, including senior attorney.

After years of successful homebrewing and beer writing, Dave Carpenter (MAeroEngr) was named editor-in-chief of Zymurgy, the journal of the American Homebrewers Association. Dave lives in Fort Collins, Colo.

Last October the Centennial, Colo., men鈥檚 tennis team, a part of the U.S. Tennis Association鈥檚 adult league, took the national title at the USTA National Championships for adults with the hard work of team captain Jerad Harbaugh (Bus, MInfSys) and teammates Bryan Knepper (Psych), John Dietz Fry (Biochem鈥�00) and Chris Celechovsky (EPOBio鈥�98).
