Faegre Baker Daniels announced聽Natalie Hanlon-Leh聽(Mktg鈥�86) as the new leader of the intellectual property group. She is a partner and senior trial lawyer and serves as lead counsel in complex patent copyright, trademark and trade secrets cases. Natalie secured a $12 million jury verdict in a patent infringement and trade dress case for a division of L鈥橭real and scored a victory for Life is good Inc. in a copyright dispute. She is an adjunct professor of patent litigation at 欧美口爆视频鈥檚 law school and lives in Louisville, Colo.

With a generous gift of $285,000 from聽Dan Ivanoff聽(MBA鈥�86, MCivEngr鈥�87) and his wife Laurie, 欧美口爆视频-Boulder is creating a construction management track within the MBA program in the Leeds School of Business. The program, expected to start in the fall, brings together the 欧美口爆视频 Real Estate Center and civil, environmental and architectural engineering programs. Dan and his wife live in Redmond, Wash.

Florida Python Removal Agent permittee聽Chris Harmon聽(PolSci鈥�87) took part in the 2013 Python Challenge in the Florida Everglades in February. The point of the challenge was to remove the giant invasive pythons that have become entrenched in the environmentally sensitive Everglades. Chris writes that they didn鈥檛 find a single python after four full weekends of hiking through rugged, alligator-infested terrain, but they found dozens of other snakes, including some fairly rare species.

Property manager at W.W. Reynolds聽Jeff Wingert聽(EnvDes鈥�87, MBA鈥�91) has overseen and directed the company鈥檚 asset and property management, leasing and development operations since 1991. Prior, he worked for 欧美口爆视频-Boulder鈥檚 facilities management department overseeing campus remodels and construction. He and his wife have been married for more than 16 years, have two children and live in Superior, Colo. Outside of work Jeff enjoys fishing, camping, skiing and coaching any sports his children play.

As a managing director in investment banking聽Eric Corrigan聽(Fin鈥�88) works at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. He works in mergers and capital raising for regional banks. Eric also is working to hire Leeds School of Business students. He lives with his wife and three children in Westchester, N.Y., and writes he enjoys golfing with his kids except when they beat him, which is frequently the case.

New York Times聽箩辞耻谤苍补濒颈蝉迟听John Branch聽(Mktg鈥�89, MJour鈥�96) won the Pulitzer Prize in feature writing in spring for writing 鈥淪now Fall: The Avalanche at Tunnel Creek鈥� project. ASNE honored 鈥淪now Fall鈥� as part of its awards for the best journalism of 2012. The American Society of News Editors said the project 鈥渟ets a new standard for online storytelling.鈥� John visited campus in February to talk to journalism classes, faculty and staff. This summer聽Peter Vik聽(MPsych鈥�89, PhD鈥�92) will move to Pacific University in Oregon to work as professor and director of the doctoral program in clinical psychology. Previously he was a professor at Idaho State University and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California San Diego. In February his book聽Regression, ANOVA, and the General Linear Model: A Statistics Primer聽was published.

In December聽Kathleen Finnegan Chambard聽(Ger, CentEastEur鈥�91) earned her master鈥檚 degree in strategic communications at Columbia University. She walked in the Columbia University commencement ceremony in May. In June Kathleen鈥檚 two children graduated from middle and elementary school and they held a triple-decker graduation party. Kathleen and her family live in Brooklyn.

Phillip has been a professor there since 1996 and teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in signal processing, embedded systems and machine learning. He lives in Las Cruces, N.M.

She is a partner in the firm鈥檚 litigation and advocacy group with a focus on trade secrets, antitrust, franchise and distribution and complex commercial matters. As office leader Heather will guide the firm鈥檚 community initiatives and serve as the firm鈥檚 representative in the Denver community.

Denver resident聽Kenzo Kawanabe聽(PolSci鈥�94) is a commercial litigator who represents clients in contract disputes, business torts, products liability and intellectual property. He also was board chair of 欧美口爆视频 Lawyers Committee, dedicated to assisting children, the poor and other disadvantaged groups. Japan鈥檚 Ministry of Foreign Affairs named Kenzo to the 2013 Japanese American Leadership Delegation for being a top Japanese American leader in the nation. The delegation will meet with individuals at the highest levels of Japanese government, business administration and civil society.

Ulmer & Berne announced that聽Stephanie Harley聽(Psych鈥�95) was recognized as a 2013 Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star, a designation given to the legal industry鈥檚 best lawyers under the age of 40. Nominated by their peers, only 2.5 percent of Ohio lawyers are recognized as 鈥淩ising Stars.鈥� Stephanie lives in Avon Lake, Ohio.

After graduation聽Jason Ross聽(MechEngr鈥�96) moved to Boston to work in the Laboratory of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine that is part of the Brigham and Women鈥檚 Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He applied to medical school and was accepted to the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Jason received a fellowship to fund his project while he completes his medical education.

In January law firm Wilson Elser announced that聽Melissa Shisler聽(Law鈥�96) joined the firm鈥檚 Denver office as counsel. She is a member of the firm鈥檚 national appellate, fidelity/surety, general liability and casualty and insurance and reinsurance coverage practices. While she attended 欧美口爆视频 law school, Melissa was a member and associate editor of the聽University of 欧美口爆视频 Law Review.聽She lives in Littleton, Colo.
