Hello, Frequency Modulation
欧美口爆视频's AM student radio station, Radio 1190 KV欧美口爆视频, acquires FM signal.听
In an effort to improve its sound and听add listeners, 欧美口爆视频 Boulder鈥檚 student-run,听music-heavy AM radio station has听acquired an FM signal.听
That means come fall, Boulder Valley听listeners will be able to tune in Radio 1190 KV欧美口爆视频鈥檚 programming at 98.9 FM as well.听
The move is intended to draw additional听listeners in the Boulder Valley by听offering the stronger sound and stereo听quality of FM, said station general听manager Mikey Goldenberg (Econ鈥02),听the nonprofit station鈥檚 only full-time听employee. That in turn should bring new听opportunities for sponsorship and community听involvement, he said.听
鈥淔M is the standard,鈥 Goldenberg said.听鈥淚t legitimizes the station to another level.鈥澨
Fans as far north as the Wyoming听border and as far south as 欧美口爆视频听Springs will continue to get KV欧美口爆视频鈥檚听commercial-free programming at the听1190 AM location.听

The 欧美口爆视频 Board of Regents owns the听station鈥檚 10,000-watt AM transmitter听and its license.听
Supported by student government and听the College of Media, Communication听and Information, KV欧美口爆视频 broadcasts听from the University Memorial Center.听Students manage production, programming,听marketing and promotions.听Goldenberg, a 17-year radio industry听veteran, oversees daily operations.听
