Shayne Wille Culpepper (PolSci’97), above, along with Adam Goucher (Comm’98) and Danny Reese (A&S’85), was inducted into the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Running Hall of Fame in May.

The football program lost five scholarships due to substandard results on the Academic Progress Rate report for the period from 2005-09. Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ officials had anticipated the penalty and thus reduced the scholarships they awarded for the 2009 season.

Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ men’s golf coach Roy Edwards signed a recruit, AustralianÌýPatrick WilsonÌýwho is ranked among the world’s top 110 amateur players, according toÌýGolfweekÌýmagazine. Meanwhile, a transfer from Pepperdine, juniorÌýJessica Wallace, has joined the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ women’s golf team. Wallace finished 21st in the 2010 Women’s NCAA Championship Finals.

Former Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ women’s basketball playerÌýSherrice KingÌý(Psych ex’93) will be inducted into the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ Springs Sports Hall of Fame on Oct. 27.

Seven Coloradans will be among the 15 newcomers joining the Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ volleyball team for the 2010 fall season.
