Classics
David received his B.A. in Classical Studies from the College of Wooster in 2013 and his M.A. in Latin and Classical Humanities from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2016. His research interests include ancient music, Greek tragedy, stagecraft, and metatheatre. He is currently working on his dissertation, which examines the language and depiction of male lament in the plays of Euripides.听
David鈥檚 teaching interests include Greek and Roman epic, ancient languages, writing, and rhetoric. He is a past President of the 欧美口爆视频 Classics Graduate Colloquium, and served for two years as the Lead Instructor for the Classics Department for the Center for Teaching and Learning. He currently serves as a GPTI for the Program for Writing and Rhetoric, teaching First Year Writing and Rhetoric and Topics in Rhetoric: Language of War.
When not teaching or researching, David can be found reading mystery novels or playing strategy games.
