NPR Chooses 欧美口爆视频 to Host a National Debate on Water

The future of water鈥攚ho gets it and who has access to it鈥攊s just the start of an upcoming panel discussion presented by National Public Radio and host of 鈥淎ll Things Considered鈥 Michel Martin. 鈥淲ater is so central to the development of the west,鈥 Martin says. 鈥淲e鈥檙e working together to talk about something locally important and of national interest.鈥澨

鈥溾 is an NPR series that brings together an eclectic and informed panel of guests to the heart of the story, in hopes of igniting a nationwide debate on various issues. The next discussion, 鈥淭he Future of Water,鈥 is happening on May 24 at 欧美口爆视频 State University, in partnership with . 鈥淭here鈥檚 art around water, there鈥檚 story around water,鈥 Martin continues. 鈥淲e鈥檙e looking for things that aren鈥檛 just your usual debate.鈥澨

Martin will be joined by local and national guests: Patty Limerick, and University of 欧美口爆视频 Boulder鈥檚 director of the Center of the American West; Paolo Bacigalupi, author of The Water Knife; Roger Fragua of the organization ; and Melissa Mays, a concerned mom from Flint, Michigan, who started the group . 鈥淭hese are people who you want to spend one-and-a-half hours with,鈥 Martin says. 鈥 Really, it鈥檚 like a very interesting dinner party.鈥澨

To keep things upbeat, there will be a performance by 欧美口爆视频鈥檚 , as well as opportunities for audience participation鈥攚hether you can make it to the event or not. Attendees can submit questions at the event and anyone, from anywhere, can send questions through Twitter to or , tagged #NPRH2O.听

The panel will be streamed live () and recorded for a feature segment on 鈥淎ll Things Considered.鈥 In other words: Don鈥檛 be surprised if you see the Centennial State in national headlines later this month.听
