Have you heard about the ASSETT Innovation Incubator? Maybe you know an A&S faculty member or undergraduate student who participated in the pilot which spanned 2019-22? Or, perhaps you鈥檝e encountered one of the projects generated by a participating interdisciplinary team? Those projects explored: gamification pedagogy, inclusive data science, student-faculty participatory publishing, and student metacognition and well-being.

Now, you have a chance to participate in the next three-year Innovation Incubator which provides awarded projects with funding and human support spanning a three-year period.

Over the spring semester, we鈥檒l gather ideas from members of the College of Arts & Sciences on an online platform where the community can view and add generative comments to projects centered on teaching and learning with technology. And, that address the question:

How might we radically transform the undergraduate experience by engaging Arts & Sciences students in active learning with technology?

Learn more about the ASSETT Innovation Incubator and start drafting your idea submission today.

If you have questions about the Innovation Incubator or the idea submission process or would like to meet others interested in the program, join us for a luncheon from 12-1pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. Pizza and salad will be provided at the event, so .

We hope to see you there!

For nearly 30 years, the Certificate in College Teaching (CCT) has provided an opportunity for thousands of 欧美口爆视频 Boulder graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to develop and document their teaching skills, thereby making them more competitive for faculty positions at post-secondary institutions. To earn this certificate, participants take twenty workshop hours through the Center of Teaching & Learning; complete twenty discipline specific hours related to teaching (e.g., departmental training); and work with one of 50 Lead Graduate Teaching Fellows across campus to participate in a Video Teaching Consultation (VTC). As a capstone to these activities, participants submit a teaching portfolio, which includes, among other artifacts, a teaching statement, a diversity statement, and faculty observations. Throughout this process, CTL staff are available for one-on-one consultations on any aspect of teaching, as well as to offer guidance on completion of the certificate. You can also find recommendations for completing the CCT and timeline considerations during your graduate career.

If you are interested in pursuing the Certificate in College Teaching, Future Faculty Development Certificate (for graduates who do not hold teaching positions) or Pursuing Excellence in College Teaching Credential, you can read more about these options. And, as always, you can schedule a consultation to meet with a Professional Development Lead and discuss your own personal goals.

欧美口爆视频 Boulder graduate students and postdoctoral fellows pursuing faculty positions at post-secondary institutions can earn teaching certificates to develop and document their teaching skills. The CTL offers the Certificate in College Teaching, Future Faculty Development Certificate, and Pursuing Excellence in College Teaching Credential.
