We鈥檙e almost there! The end of the semester is a great time to reflect on and celebrate our accomplishments as educators. This practice can enhance the meaning of our work and add intention to our growth process.
We encourage you to set aside 15-30 minutes in the next few weeks to reflect on your teaching this semester. What about your teaching was most effective? Least effective? (Remember to exercise self-compassion!) What would you like to do differently next time, and what resources will help you implement these changes? Can you think of a teaching moment that was particularly rewarding? How did that moment resonate with your core values or motivations for teaching?听
Ideally, your reflections will be informed by feedback from your students. For tips on using feedback collected via the Faculty Course Questionnaires (FCQ), see our article on making FCQs work for you. In addition, our article on soliciting mid-semester student feedback to inform your teaching will help you plan ahead for the next time you teach. Lastly, we encourage you to talk with colleagues about the feedback you received. This is a wonderful opportunity to share tips and resources and build a network of support with your fellow 欧美口爆视频 educators!
