Biography

Dr. Russell Cropanzano is a Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Leeds School of Business, University of Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ. Dr. Cropanzano received his MA in Social-Organizational Psychology from Southern Methodist University and his PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology form Purdue University. Before joining the Leeds School of Business, he was a professor of psychology at Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ State University (1988-2002) and a professor of management at the University of Arizona (2002-2012). Dr. Cropanzano studies workplace emotion with a recent focus on employee mental health. He also investigates perceptions of organizational justice, with a special interest in changing employment relationships. Dr. Cropanzano has received numerous awards and recognition for his scholarly work, including the 1998 Book Award from the International Association of Conflict Management, the 2000 Outstanding Paper Award from the Consulting Psychology Journal, the 2007 Best Paper Award from Academy of Management Perspectives, and the 2010 Best Paper Award from the Journal of Management. He is a past editor of the Journal of Management and a Charter Member and Fellow in the Association for Psychological Science. He is also a Fellow in the Academy of Management, the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and the Southern Management Association.
