2nd Annual Undergraduate Bascom Real Estate Case Competition
October 28th

The Bascom Undergraduate Real Estate Case Competition was launched in 2019 to expand opportunities for Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ’s real estate and finance students to be exposed to real-world business cases and to develop their analytical and business-communication skills to best prepare them for success in the commercial real estate industry. To participate, students audition for a semester-long co-curricular program which builds upon their course work to include speaking, presentation and team skills, plus contemporary market conditions and analytical methods. The Bascom Case Competition, and an accompanying real estate casestudy- method capstone course at Leeds, have been generously underwritten by Bascom and the David Kim family. A strong supporter of higher education and attendant experiential learning, Mr. Kim recognized early on the leg-up students have if they are exposed to multiple business underwritings prior to graduation, tying together academic didactics with real-world situations.
