Ruojia Sun is driven by a future where physical interactions听are a part of our everyday lives, allowing people to engage with the world in new ways. She is also passionate听about making sure that everyone is included in this future by broadening and diversifying who can use and create interactive technologies. Ruojia is always exploring听new ideas, but her main research interests include听tangible interaction, human-robot interaction听and novel fabrication approaches for technology design. Ruojia received her BS听and MEng听in mechanical engineering, with a concentration on robotics, from听Cornell University. Outside of the lab, Ruojia is engaged in ballroom dancing and social activism.
