Allison Radomski
- FILMMAKING
Allison Radomski (she/her/hers) is an independent filmmaker who has been based in Boulder County, Å·ÃÀ¿Ú±¬ÊÓƵ since 2021. Her projects span a variety of genres from documentary and narrative fiction to experimental essay films. She's living her best life when she gets to shoot 16mm and Super 8 film, work with found footage, create glittery direct animations, and mess around with an old VHS camcorder (ideally, all in the same project).  Through these sundry approaches, her movies are in conversation with the same collection of cinematic knots: the tensions between social performance and authenticity, the fuzzy boundary between objectification and sanctification, and the limits of self-awareness. Her work has screened at festivals around the country, including the Ann Arbor Film Festival, GRRL HAUS Cinema, the Atlanta Film Festival, Milwaukee Underground, Experiments in Cinema, Onion City Experimental Film Festival, and Indie Memphis.
