Silva Chang鈥檚 欧美口爆视频 Math Circle recently hosted a Puzzlepalooza competition at the University of 欧美口爆视频 Boulder on December 7. The 欧美口爆视频 Math Circle is an organization directed by Silva Chang for high school and middle school students that hosts events such as math talks and problem solving sessions. The events are all hosted by the university through the Applied Math department with the aim of introducing students to university level mathematics that are not taught in their school courses.

The 欧美口爆视频 Math Circle is involved in the American Regions Mathematics League (ARML), which holds a nationwide math competition. There are several events; the 欧美口爆视频 Math Circle has recently competed in the Power Contest, which is a group problem-solving situation. There is a forty-five minute time limit but no limit to the size of the team in the competition. The team鈥檚 solutions are mailed back ARML and graded based on a forty point rubric. Trophies are awarded to the top ten scoring teams. Our math circle is currently tied for fourth place in 2014-2015 ARML Power Contest and is one point behind the first place teams after round one of the competition. Round two will commence in February and will decide the winners of the competition.
