Research Interests

Spacecraft habitat design and operations, environmental control and life support system (ECLSS) technology development, spaceflight risk analysis, prior work involving microbial response to weightlessness and microgravity simulation techniques. Professor Klaus is retiring in May 2025 and not taking any new students on at this time.
